|My name is Christine. I was 10 years old when I started sewing. My first project was a gingham dress that I sewed o my grandmother's Singer treadle. I sewed clothing throughout my school years and have continued all through my life. I sewed for my four children and now I am using the same t-shirt patterns to sew for my grandchildren.
I started quilting early on and after all these years I still find great satisfaction in piecing a quilt top. Two years ago my husband surprised me with the Baby Lock Coronet and I am challenging myself to become a better machine quilter. My favorite handwork is applique and my least favorite is paper piecing.
My working background is in merchandising and customer service. I enjoy working in the store because it gives me the opportunity to meet so many special people. I enjoy teaching classes because it gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and to learn from my students.
My name is Patty, and I'm here to keep you sewing. Twenty plus years I have been quilting. Learning every step of the way and love sharing with you. Stop in anytime with any question, I'll do my best to answer. That's why teaching beginning quilting is my favorite class to teach. It allows me to share all I have learned over the years. I look forward to seeing you.
