Quilting and Weather
Seems as if we always end up talking about weather
in this section. Could be that in Wisconsin, it is a big factor for many
reasons. Too cold - stay inside, can't dig, can't plant. Too hot -
stay inside or sweat outside. Too wet - can't do outside work, kids are
underfoot. Too dry - water the plants and complain about it. All
in all, the old Wisconsin motto is correct - Don't like the weather?
Wait 10 minutes and it will change.
But did you notice that your passion for quilting is able to be indulged
during any of those times? That's the neat thing about our
addiction - it can be a huge project or something small enough to carry in
your purse. Always on the lookout for new patterns and/or techniques,
